Village of Lakemore News and Views

 The Village of Lakemore Council will hold it's regular meeting tomorrow night....August 1, 2022. The meeting will be held at the Municipal Building, 1400 Main Street.

  Our own Tracy Sayers received the Rotarian of the Year award July 15 at Melanie Lake. An outstanding award for an outstanding Village Administrator and member of t he community. Sayers was raised in the village attending Springfield Schools. Her father was mayor at one time. She has worked for the village for years in many different positions and is currently the Village Administrator. While wearing many hats taking care of Lakemore business, Tracy is there offering a helping hand to residents of her favorite village!

Welcome to the Village of Lakemore News and Views Blog.  Here you will find needed information on what is going on in the community, exciting news about neighbors and friends and we will keep you up to date on the news and views of the village. The latest info you need to know is on the change of the refuse and recycling hauler. The community is changing from Republic to Kimble beginning August 1, 2022. Recycling will now be picked up each week instead of every other week.  Starting on Monday and Tuesday, July 25th and 26th, Republic Waste will begin removing their trash and recycling carts. This will also be the final trash and recycling collections by Republic Waste. Residents must place all Republic Waste containers at the curb for removal on those dates. It may take the entire week for Republic Waste to remove all carts. If any remain after Friday, July 29th, residents can contact the Village of Lakemore Billing Office at 330-733-6125 ext. 4 to report. The w
