Special Shoppers at Christmas

For many years the police departments of the area have been hosting "SHOP WITH A COP" where the departments shop with children in the area. Each officer teams up with

a "guest shopper". The morning begins early with donuts, juice and more for the participants. Then a long parade of police cars, SWAT units, fire truck, tow truck and so much more with sirens blaring they took the shoppers on a ride ending up at Walmart. The shoppers were presented with a dollar amount to spend.

After shopping

they all went back to the high school for lunch, a visit with Santa and the elves wrap the purchases for under the tree,

Lakemore kids were supported for the shopping through your generous donations with Fill A Cruiser held at Dollar General.

Here are some pictures of the day.
