The Annual Village Tree Lighting

They say it "takes a village" and one village that sticks together in good and bad times is the Village of Lakemore! The village recently had its annual tree lighting. There was a good turn out as many came to participate.

The white bearded man even took some time off from making toys and checking his list twice to be on hand to visit with families and hear Christmas wishes.

There was hot cocoa, cookies, a bonfire and a horse and wagon ride around the village which was given through Sam and Ralph's adventures. It was a fun and festive ride that included some nice light displays and singing of Christmas Carols.

It was a fun night for all ages! Everyone is always welcome.

The event is held each year on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. If you missed it this year...mark your calendar for next year. If you don't have a new calendar...there is still time to ask Santa for one.
